About the Role
What We Need From You:
- Dedicated Hours: We require a minimum of 12 appointment hours a week
- Reception and Administrative Work: Though you are welcome to place anyone on your own schedule, we are able to provide those administrative tasks so you don't have to!
- State Licenses: We are looking for Clinicians who are licensed in one or more of the following states: WA MA RI CT OR NJ FL
- Desire for growth: We are looking for Licensed professionals who are willing to gain licensure in multiple states as needed.
- Personal Commitment to success: We expect you to maintain an active Psychology Today profile, keep up with CAQH attestations, ensure all licenses and liability insurance are current, and consistently follow all practice policies (HIPAA, etc).
- Strong Communication skills - You are courteous of other peoples time and respond to your clients, peers and colleagues written requests within a reasonable amount of time. Your communication, both verbally and written is respectful and thoughtful.
- Positive and Optimistic - You see the bright side of things. You are a warm and welcoming individual who enjoys the work that you do and enjoys communicating in a collaborative way with both your team and the people you serve.
Job Duties:
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions to address behavioral issues
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire positive behavioral changes
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Apply cognitive behavioral therapy strategies and/or other evidence-based modalities to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans
Requirements
Licensed as a Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.)
Must have active licensure in one or more of the following states: WA MA RI CT OR NJ FL
Preferred: Licensed in multiple states or willingness to become licensed in multiple states
Prior Telehealth experience preferred but not required
Comfortable with technology and conducting therapy sessions via video platforms
Positive attitude, open communication and responsiveness
